ABOUT
The Christopher Santora Educational Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Christopher Santora, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on 9/11. Prior to becoming a firefighter, Christopher was a social studies teacher in the NYC School System. The scholarship fund provides financial assistance to college-bound high school seniors across the country who participate in an essay writing competition. In addition to providing scholarships, the fund raises awareness about the sacrifices made by first responders and their families.
